The double room I stayed in was clean and had basic furniture, and the location was right in the heart of the main street.

This is country pub/hotel with very good if basic accommodation which although dated is clean and serviceable. There is an AC for cooling but nothing for heating so bring your own. Within Port Fairy these days great value for money.
Nothing really. Location and bar/restaurant are great and the food choice now has a bit of a bias on Asian flavors but still a good selection of Australian pub dishes. Staff are are great.

Thanks for the really comfortable stay, no complaints whatsoever. It has lovely friendly and affable staff and friendly services. The setting is excellent and amazing, next to shops and historical buildings, the restaurant, and the centre of Port Fairy. The main bar is good.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for money. Secondly, the attention to detail was outstanding, from the well-located rooms right behind the pub to the friendly and attentive staff. The basic amenities were all in place, and I particularly appreciated the rooms with simple furniture and a carpet that looked spotless. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying.
All aspects of my stay were just fine.

The location of the hotel was great, close to all the attractions and easy to locate. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was good. The fact that we didn't have to pay until we checked in was also a plus.
The negatives far outweighed the positives. The cleanliness was questionable, with cobwebs and dirty lamp shades.

The complementary breakfast was basic, but it was appreciated. We also enjoyed having access to free Wi-Fi during our stay. the hotel's location was perfect, we were in walking distance to all the attractions. the balcony with a view of the sea was enjoyable.
Our romantic escape wasn't as relaxing as we hoped. the room was poorly maintained, and the noise level throughout the hotel made it hard to unwind.

The hotel's location is central and convenient, with easy access to various restaurants and pubs nearby. Some rooms are surprisingly quiet despite facing the Main Street. Also, the staff is generally friendly and accommodating.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the property are subpar. The rooms lack basic facilities such as microwaves and toiletries, and some appliances are not working properly.
